Our Services
Online platform
We have an online and mobile based E-commerce platform that connects farmers, customers and transport providers. It offers a channel through which parties can trade as well as make payments.
USSD Service
To ensure that we accommodate everyone, we offer a USSD service to our farmers and customers who do not have access to a smartphone, computer or internet connection.
Through this, they can comfortably post goods and make orders using their mobile phones.
Agent Network
We have a vast network of field agents spread across all counties where we have operations in. Our agents interact directly with farmers and are responsible for: Registering farmers onto the platform, Performing Due-Diligence on farmers, Inspection and weighing of farmers produce at the collection points and Collecting market information including prevailing market prices for different commodities
Transport/Delivery
Shamba Nexus has onboard competent transport providers with a country wide presence and they ensure that purchased goods reach the consumers on time and in the right shape.
Agronomy
We offer agronomy services to our farmers to help them throughout all farming phases/ seasons to increase productivity. We walk with our farmers to the last mile.
